1. About Power Prayer
Power Prayer is a free Christian community prayer app operated by Power Prayer. By creating an account and using this app, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Power Prayer. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should have parental consent.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when creating your account, including your name and country. You may not create an account on behalf of someone else or use another person's account.
4. Prayer Requests & Community Content
When you submit a prayer request or any content to Power Prayer, you grant Power Prayer a non-exclusive licence to display that content within the app to other users for the purpose of community prayer. You retain ownership of your content.
You agree not to post content that is abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, or designed to harm others. Power Prayer reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms without notice.
5. Crisis & Sensitive Content
Power Prayer monitors prayer requests for keywords that may indicate a user is in distress or experiencing a crisis. Where such content is detected, the app will display local crisis helpline information based on your registered country. This is an automated feature and does not constitute professional mental health support.
Power Prayer is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or emergency services. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services immediately.
6. Your Data & Privacy
We collect the information you provide at signup (name, email, country, denomination) and any content you create within the app. This data is stored securely using Supabase.
We will never sell your personal data or faith-related information to third parties. Your country is used solely to provide relevant crisis support resources and community statistics.
If you opt in to our newsletter, we will use your email address to send you Power Prayer updates. You can opt out at any time by contacting us.
You have the right to request deletion of your account and data at any time via the Profile screen.
7. Community Standards
Power Prayer is a space for genuine, respectful prayer and faith community. Users are expected to engage with one another with kindness and respect. Harassment, trolling, spam, or misuse of the prayer platform for any purpose other than sincere prayer and community support is not permitted and may result in account removal.
8. Supporter Payments
Power Prayer is free to use. Optional Community Supporter subscriptions (£1/$1/€1 per month) help cover running costs. All payments are voluntary. Payment processing is handled by third-party providers and is subject to their terms. Power Prayer does not store payment card details.
9. Disclaimer
Power Prayer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the app. Power Prayer is not responsible for the content of prayer requests posted by users, or for any outcomes arising from the use of the app.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of significant changes where possible.
